Alan was raised in a rural community in San Joaquin county CA and grew up farming grapes, wheat and other crops with his father. As an adult he had success growing apples, almonds, and corn among other annuals. In 1985 Mr. Cheney became an insurance adjuster for the Risk Management Agency, evaluating crop claims across California, New Mexico and Arizona. After years of working the farm industry from all aspects Alan became a licensed insurance broker. His vast experience as both a farmer and an adjuster has been an immense asset helping our growers maintain the level of coverage they need.
Barbara began her career in crop insurance as a Customer Service Representative maintaining all crop insurance policies for the agency and working closely with growers. She obtained her agent’s license in November 2001 assisting established clients as well as bringing in new growers. She has been an integral part of the team since day one.
Debi started in the insurance industry in May of 1985 as a full charge bookkeeper for a major truck insurance agency. Fast forward nearly a decade and in November 1994 she became a licensed insurance broker and the following January of 1995 Debi opened her own agency writing all lines of property & casualty insurance. Over the following seven years Debi enjoyed a growing business before selling her agency, becoming the P & C manager and ultimately coming to work with Alan and Barbara overseeing customer service and heading up the Property & Casualty division.
Joining Premium Lines in June of 2017, Zeb is the newest member of our team. With a background in shipping/receiving, logistics and customer service, he has enjoyed the new task of learning the ins and outs of the insurance industry.
